The second tone splits the seed. Every beginning meets its counterweight: desire and fear, motion and stillness, the self you are and the self you are leaving. The Book of Polarity refuses the cheap resolution. It teaches the reader to stand inside contradiction long enough to read what it is actually saying — to treat tension as a stereo signal rather than a problem to silence.
